Bamboo Nails is located on Union Street, nestled between Fillmore and Steiner Streets in San Francisco’s Cow Hollow neighborhood, just between Pacific Heights and the Marina. Our serene space is designed to offer a calming escape from the city’s hustle and bustle, providing a peaceful and relaxing environment.

We’ve carefully curated our services to deliver an exceptional experience. Whether you’re here for a manicure, pedicure, or skin care treatment, your relaxation and comfort are our top priorities. At Bamboo Nails, we prioritize clean beauty by offering a range of non-toxic and vegan polishes, products, and services. We aim to enhance your natural nail health, promote longevity, and support recovery if necessary.

In our commitment to a healthy, safe environment, we use only the cleanest products available, prioritizing natural, non-toxic, and organic ingredients whenever possible. Whether you're getting a classic manicure or indulging in one of our specialty services, we ensure your nails and skin are treated with the highest care.

FAQ’s

    • A credit card is required to hold all appointments.
      We require at least 24 hours' notice to cancel or reschedule individual appointments.
      Late cancellations and no-shows will be charged as follows:
      – $25 per nail service
      – $75 per facial

    • If you are more than 10 minutes late for your appointment, it will be forfeited, and the applicable fee will be charged.

    • If you arrive late, but we are still able to accommodate you, your service may be shortened to fit the remaining time, which could mean missing parts of the service, such as massage, scrub, or detailed finishing. The full service fee still applies.

    • Groups of 3 or more require a 25% deposit at the time of booking. This deposit is non-refundable if cancelled or rescheduled with less than 24 hours’ notice.

  • To help us maintain a smooth and respectful environment for all, we kindly ask that guests observe the following:

    • Please arrive 5 minutes early to settle in, choose your polish colors, and allow your service to begin on time.

    • Kindly silence your phone upon arrival. No phone calls are permitted during services to maintain a calm environment.

    • Be mindful of your technician’s time, especially on busy days. If you're unsure about your color choice, consider narrowing your options.

    • Please limit color trials when the schedule is tight, particularly during peak hours or weekends.

    • Recognize that others may be waiting, and help us stay on time by being prompt and prepared.

    • Keep personal belongings organized and avoid placing items on workstations.

    • Treat our space and team with the same care and consideration you’d want in return. Your kindness sets the tone for everyone’s experience.

    • We take your health and safety seriously and maintain strict sanitation protocols.

    • If you are currently being treated for nail fungus, athlete’s foot, or ingrown toenails, we kindly ask that you wait until your doctor has cleared you before booking a service. While we welcome all clients, we are not a medical facility, and our services are not intended to treat or manage medical foot concerns.

    • By booking, you acknowledge that Bamboo Nails cannot be held responsible for pre-existing foot conditions or complications that may arise during or after cosmetic nail services.

  • At Bamboo Nails, we stand by the quality of our work and want you to leave fully satisfied. If something doesn’t feel right, please let us know; we’re happy to assess and make it right when appropriate.

    If you're not satisfied with your service, please let us know before leaving the salon or contact us within 24 hours by phone or email so we can determine the best way to assist you.

    Here’s how we define a do-over or adjustment:

    • If we made an error in the application (e.g., bubbling, uneven shape, or missed areas), we’re happy to fix it at no charge.

    • If your polish chips or smudges within 24 hours and you have followed the aftercare guidelines, we’ll gladly touch it up.

    • If you are unhappy with the color you chose or change your mind after the service, this is not considered a do-over. We’ll do our best to accommodate, but a fee may apply.

    • If the issue results from external factors (e.g., footwear, housework, water exposure), we’re happy to advise; however, a complimentary fix may not be applicable.

    We want every guest to leave feeling confident and well taken care of. Clear communication enables us to deliver that experience consistently every time.

    • Products may be returned within three days of purchase, provided they are in their original packaging and accompanied by a receipt.

    • We offer store credit only; no cash refunds are available.

    • We kindly encourage gratuity in cash or Venmo

    • While always optional, tips are a meaningful way to show appreciation for your technician’s care and skill.

    • We accept Visa, Mastercard, American Express, and cash.

    • Gift certificates are available for all services.

    • Prices are subject to change without notice.

    • Bamboo Nails is not responsible for lost or stolen items.

    • No pets indoors, please. Pets are welcome to relax on our patio during your visit.
